What awaits

a selection of photos of my surroundings lately and a selfportrait that pretty much sums up how I feel nowadays :)

2010 has come to an end. And some very unexpected happenings have given me a great ending to this year and so much to look forward to. I really can't wait to step into 2011:
Getting to work with some very inspiring people within photography, that I've looked up to for a long time. Continuing to build up my little creative haven. Cherishing those moments when you realise you're living out your dreams.
Surrounding myself with those people who only bring positivity into your days. Also looking forward to creating even more surreal moments together with Mr. Someone-special, that always makes me smile.
Happy New Year to all and a huge to thanks to all those who stop by here! You have no idea how encouraging your comments are, highly appreciate the support!

Simply the best weekend ever..

The Arrival of Winter

Recently I've been caught up in the stress of everyday life and not been able to escape into my world of photography. Therefore the lack of posts and inspiration. Feels like I've been having a long-distance relationship with my camera, since I've only had time to snap a few photos in the weekends. Hopefully I'll have more time from now on. As you can see winter has taken over. Although it's hard to get used to the cold and darker days, some very exciting things have been happening lately especially in regards to photographing; which shows that aiming high and never giving up, has slowly started to pay off. But I'll get back to this later :)

The Islands

As always I am drawn towards the sea when taking pictures.
The sun shines, but it's a cold sun and it settles down into the waters too quickly. I hadn't planned for it to get dark so early, so we didn't have that much time to take pictures, before nightfall was upon us.
Thanks to my very brave model for not complaining in this cold weather!

Land of the lost

I just love foggy and desolated landskapes. Deserted cars, sky-high trees and farm animals who won't stop staring at you, made interesting photo subjects in this mist. Nature looks so fragile now that winter is approaching.
